Brikell has really had a huge impact on Miami Real Estate, it has turned heads like never before.
The Brickell Avenue Streetscape Project
The completion date for the city to fix the Brickell Avenue area was a little too confident on their part. The city said this project was to be completed before the holiday season. We are now on February 2008, past the holiday season, and still nothing. The pathetic excuses for a sidewalk don’t look neat, light posts are on bases and others aren’t. This topic has been of number one question for the Brickell Homeowners Association (BHA).

It’s difficult to not notice, or maybe even trip, over crooked markers, hurricane evacuation signs on the ground since the last storm, cracks in the sidewalks, the list goes on and on. BHA has been vigorously recording the problems and working with public officials to complete the project to fix inferior workmanship which obviously did not get overseen while being done. This project along with others in the Miami area, were delayed due to City staffers working on their own freelance construction instead of working for taxpayers. There’s now new leadership, but of course they cannot make up for lost time.
This isn’t only for the BHA, but for residents everywhere. Fight to get your community cleaned up!
